Maintained by the Department of Physics, the Rev. Mitchell Observatory is equipped with an Orion SkyQuest 12" Truss Tube Dobsonian reflecting telescope (305 mm aperture, 1500 mm focal length) for celestial observations and educational sky-watching programs for students and local schools.

The Physics department of the college maintains a specialized Astronomical Observatory (Rev. Mitchell Observatory). It serves as an observational center for viewing celestial bodies and conducting community outreach where students from local schools are invited regularly for guided sky-watching sessions.
